NUS Design Summer Programme
The aim of the summer programme is present a platform for students to learn from each other in a unique learning environment where students of different cultures, backgrounds, technical disciplines and mindsets can come together as a community of learners, to foster the ability to think critically, to work together as a team, to appreciate the complexities of real-life issues and also to hone the ability to integrate information from various sources with the view to form the “big picture”. The programme also offers students the opportunity to sharpen their communication and leadership skills in the course of interacting with one another. Participants will be organized in groups to carry out work involving ideation, conceptual design, prototyping and a final presentation. Your full and active participation is the KEY to the success of this summer programme, so may I urge all participants to take this occasion to participate fully, during both the day programme as well as the evening activities.
